APPROVAL OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SARASOTA COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD AND FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE WALK AND ROLL SARASOTA PROJECT
Description
Agreement will provide $50,965 from the Florida Department of Transportation for the Walk and Roll Sarasota project to encourage students to walk and/or bicycle to school, and to educate students about pedestrian and bicycle safety. The agreement is effective until June 30, 2012.
Recommendation
That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation for the Walk and Roll Sarasota project.
